Is it a Tree? A Calendar? A Life Lesson? YOU BET!
With twelve "spokes" as the trees skeleton and 365 hoops, Full Circle is, at the most basic level, a calendar. However, upon deeper investigation, Full Circle is more, much more. What Full Circle truly represents, is the ability of each day to have a profound impact on who an individual is. A person will go through many rites of passage in their lifetime, ones that come to mind are birth, walking, first love, high school graduation, and even death. What most fail to acknowledge is that we also experience many smaller, more subtle changes on a day to day basis that affect who we are just as much. After all, what is a rite of passage anyway, but a moment that informs us (internally) that "we have crossed an inner threshold and are changed". This is the purpose of Full Circle. The individual (decorated) hoops are representative of the unique beauty of each day, and the limitless possibilities for every day to change us and help us grow if we are open. The blank hoops that will be distributed daily are symbolic of days that have yet to come, empty canvases waiting for the right person to come along and have an experience.

Full Circle will be donated to World Hoop Day, a not-for-profit organization that has been dedicated to bringing dance, exercise and toy hoops to under-privileged children living in extreme poverty and the under-developed neighborhoods all over the world (http://www.worldhoopday.com/ )
